| Starting
in 1992 at Kadavantra in Kochi, in a humble way to follow the
footsteps of his culinary expert father, the modern day Nala,
Sri. M Anantharaman earned
the brand name for quality vegetarian food for his venture Vinayaka
Caterers within a short span of time. As
chip of the old block, Sri. Anantharaman could hone his extraordinary
skills in the art of cooking right from the school days through
his constant association with some of the finest master cooks
of the time. Impelled by the abundance of the god given craft,
he never had second thoughts in investing the same for the noblest
cause, i.e to win the heart of the masses through the right
way, through their stomach. And he did win. |
| Vinayaka took birth very modestly, operated from
a small rented room with nominal investment and soon shifted
its operation from buildings near Elamkulam Vishnu Temple and
Kavalakkal Devi Temple. Within a couple of years, Vinayaka's
reputation as a reliable and quality-driven outdoor caterer
spread throughout Kerala. |
|
| Vinayaka began its journey to fame by meticulously
catering to two major events, the Ernakulam
Shiva temple (catered to about 1 lakh people) the Centenary
of Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala (one week celebration, catered
to around 15000 people daily) and the Bhagavatha Sathram at
Vaikom Mahadeva Temple (an eight day event, catered to around
20000 people daily). Three of the most striking examples,
which proved Vianyaka’s mettle, are the Uthram Thirunal
Sadya (February-March) and the Thiruvonam Sadya in connection
with Vrischikotsavam festivals celebrated at the Sree Poornathrayeesa
Temple, Tripunithura, Cochin. Vinayaka prepares elaborate feasts
for 15000 - 20,000 guests who participate in each of these festivals. |
| During festival seasons Vinayaka prepares special
feasts for employees of more than 100 organisations including
banks, offices, factories and other institutions in the private
and public sectors thus carving out a niche for themselves by
the dedication, promptness and quality. |
| During the past decade, Vinayaka has elevated
vegetarian cooking into a form of fine art, Clean, Delicious,
Sumptuous and Satisfying. Today, no catering assignment is too
small or too large for Vinayaka. From small, intimate family
functions to large weddings and receptions, Vinayaka takes it
all with unruffled ease. No matter who its customers are, Vinayaka
offers ONE quality, ONE quantity
and ONE price. This emphasis on fair deal and
equity and quality has been the foundation on which the reputation
of Vinayaka has been built. |
